Pumpkin Dumpling

Puree 1 cup diced pumpkin and 1 clove garlic with 1/4 cup water. (a little more might be needed)

Measure 3 cups flour and 1 tsp salt (1 tbsp butter optional)

Pour pumpkin mixture into flour and knead.

Allow the dough to rest for 5 minutes.

Set 8 cups water to boil with 1 tsp salt.

Shape dumplings as you like or in the traditional hamburger shape and place in boiling water.

Allow to cook uncovered for 15 minutes.

Serve as desired with your favorite protein and and vegetables.
