- 1 cup flour
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ tsp nutmeg or allspice
- ½ tsp ginger
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
- 3 tbsp water (or enough to stop the dough from crumbling
- Mix all ingredients.
- Roll out thin.
- Cut in small shapes,.
- Put on greased sheets.
- Prick with a fork.
- Bake 8–12 minutes at 375 °F (depending on size).
